What is refresh rate?
- A phone’s refresh Rate is the frequency and speed at which the content on the screen is refreshed.
- The refresh rate is the number of times the display fully refreshes every second it is on. It’s measured in Hertz.
60 Hz VS 90Hz VS 120 Hz
- A 60 Hz display refreshes 60 times per second , 90 Hz is 90 times per second, 120 Hz is 120 times per second, and so on.
- So , a 120 Hz display refreshes twice as fast as 60 Hz panel, and 4× faster than 30Hz.
Is a high refresh rate phone worth it?
- A higher refresh rate display greatly enhances your smartphone experience.
- Scrolling through the app drawer, images and webpages become so much smoother. It even improve the gaming experience.
- Refresh rate is a small part of a display specifications. You shouldn’t buy an expensive phone just because of it.
